Our Services

I work with individuals, couples (married and unmarried), open/consensually non-monogamous, and polyamorous relationships (including triads) to navigate mental health, intimacy, and identity. I provide therapy for women and men exploring sexual wellness and relationships, as well as men working to overcome masculine stereotypes and engage in positive mental health treatment.
Important Note: while I am in network for a limited number of insurance companies for Individual Counseling Sessions, I do NOT accept insurance for Couples/Relationship Counseling. These services are billed at the rate below, and each Couples/Relationship Counselling Session is 1.5 hours, to ensure that all members of the relationship have ample time in each session to share their thoughts, hear their partner’s thoughts, and to receive reflection, education, and guidance from me.

Individual Counseling Sessions

$90

Our time together is about creating a space where you can explore your identity, process challenges, and discover paths toward meaningful growth. Whether we’re addressing trauma, life transitions, intimacy, or other concerns, we’ll tailor our work to your unique needs. For those seeking support with sexual health or sex-related challenges, we can integrate sex therapy techniques when relevant, always at your pace and comfort level. With humor, compassion, and a judgment-free approach, we’ll work collaboratively to uncover insights and create lasting change.

Couples/Relationship Counseling

$140

Relationships are multifaceted, and so are these sessions. Whether you’re in a traditional partnership or navigating the complexities of polyamory or non-monogamy, we’ll create a space for you and your partner(s) to deepen connection, improve communication, and resolve conflicts. For those facing challenges around intimacy or sexual health, sex therapy techniques can be included as needed, always in a way that feels safe and collaborative. Together, we’ll honor your unique dynamic while fostering growth, trust, and understanding.

Why don’t you take insurance for couples or sex therapy?

Health-insurance rules were written for individual, illness-based care. To bill insurance, I would have to diagnose one partner with a mental-health disorder, prove it every session, limit us to short appointment slots, and share sensitive sexual details with the insurer. Those requirements conflict with best practices for relationship and sex therapy, which often need longer sessions, treat the partnership—not a single “identified patient”—and cover topics most couples prefer to keep off an insurance record. Working privately lets us design the length, frequency, and focus that best serve both of you, without forcing anyone to carry an unnecessary diagnosis.

Why many sex-therapy and couples-therapy practices stay out-of-network:
